Drying Mat System

At SERVPRO of West Greenville County, we like to do everything we can to try and salvage the affected materials at our customer's homes or business. That particular customer in Greenville, South Carolina was adamant about saving the hardwood flooring that was affected by an HVAC leak from the attic above. Our production crew informed her about a specific drying technique that we have where we place the mats pictured above on the saturated flooring. While this does not always work if the floors are overly saturated, in this case, we were able to save their hardwoods. The customer was so pleased.

While we don't recommend this process to all of our water mitigation clients, it can be a great option if the moisture reading is low enough upon arrival.
