Heavy Rain Floods Business

This business called us at SERVPRO of Anderson to come out and help extract water that entered their business from outside. The storm causes some pretty extensive water damage in their business, leaving over two inches of standing water in their stock room. While there are things that you can do to help prevent things like this happening, in some cases it is not avoidable like in the photo posted. The business owners cleared their drainpipe, unfortunately there was just too much rainwater. Our production crew came in and extracted all of the standing water and evaluated if any further mitigation was needed. It is important to extract water straight away to prevent further damages.
