2022 Memorial Day Firework Refresher

Every year, hundreds of fires are started from the irresponsible use of fireworks on holidays like New Years, the Fourth of July, and Memorial day. While fires cannot always be prevented, there are always steps you can take to help protect your home or business from an accident. SERVPRO of Anderson wants to provide our valued customers with a brush up of firework safety tips.

Here are a few firework safety tips:

1. Do not wear loose clothing while using fireworks.
2. Never light fireworks indoors or near dry grass.
3. Point fireworks away from people and homes.
4. Stand several feet away from lit fireworks.
5. Have a hose or bucket of water nearby.
6. Obey all local laws regarding the use of fireworks.
